Iranian Armed Forces Attend Int’l Quran Contest in Oman

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Winners of Quran contest for armed forces from Markazi Province have participated at the international Quran competitions in Oman.Aqil Fathalian, director of Tasnim-e Noor Quran Institute in Arak, said that Sa’eed Ahmadi and Mostafa Sa’eedi were the two members of the military staff in the province who have brought honor to their country.He stated that they were selected from among the country’s armed forces to represent Iran at the international contest.“They will compete in memorization of the holy Quran at this edition of the contest,” he added.The director noted that the competitions of the top Quranic armed forces from Islamic countries will be underway for one-week in Oman. /129
